Our February meeting will be Saturday the 3rd at 2PM. This time, we’ll be at the home of Lloyd and Judith Jenkins, 4925 Bartwood Dr in North Raleigh.
This month, we’ll be featuring the flutes of Belo Cozad and the music of Thurlow Lieurance. Then we’ll do some facilitated playing activities. As always, if you have a song to share, whether it’s a traditional tune, an improv piece, or a jam with you and a few friends, we look forward to hearing it. If you just want to hang out and listen, that’s cool too. If you’d like to bring a snack to share, feel free to do so.
Also, please make note that for our March meeting, we’ll be doing something a little different. Hawk Henries will be joining us on March 10 at 1PM (note the time change) at Mara Cohen’s home in Cary to share his music with us. Minimum Love Donation for Hawk is $10. In order to make life a little easier for all of us, I went ahead and scheduled out all meetings for 2018. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to host this year. We do still need facilitators some months, as noted below, so please let me know if you’d like to help with leading our playing activities. Here’s the schedule:
