Flute Friends,
Our next meeting will be on June 6th at 2PM. We’ll be at the home of Melissa and Tony Griffin, 7001 Orchard Knoll Dr in Apex. They lead the Raleigh Drum Circle, so I’m sure we’ll be doing something involving percussion.
This month, we’ll be featuring a flutemaker and a recording artist. Then we’ll do some facilitated playing activities, group jamming, and open mic. As always, if you have a song to share, whether it’s a traditional tune, an improv piece, or a jam with you and a few friends, we look forward to hearing it. If you just want to hang out and listen, that’s cool too.
In order to make life a little easier for all of us, I went ahead and scheduled out all meetings for 2026. We’re sticking with every other month for now. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the year:
