Flute Friends,
Our October meeting will be next Saturday the 11th at 2PM. We’ll be at the home of Asdiel Echevarria, 760 Rockville Rd in Wake Forest. Asdiel’s drum circle friends will be arriving at 3 for some community music making. This event will continue longer than usual, if you’d like to stay and keep playing. If you’re able, please bring a small dish or snack to share.
This month, we’ll do some facilitated playing activities as well as feature a flutemaker and recording artist. As always, if you have a song to share, whether it’s a traditional tune, an improv piece, or a jam with you and a few friends, we look forward to hearing it. If you just want to hang out and listen, that’s cool too.
In order to make life a little easier for all of us, I went ahead and scheduled out all meetings for 2025. We’re sticking with every other month for now. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the year:
