February 2022 Meeting

Our February meeting will be on Saturday the 5th at 2PM. This month, we’ll be at the home of Dave Nichols at 56702 Nash in Chapel Hill. It’s a gated community, but just tell the guard that you’re there for the flute circle at Dave’s house.

As we all know, Covid is still an issue, and the Omicron variant is running rampant in the area. In order to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible, especially since some of our regular participants are high risk or immunocompromised, we ask that only fully vaccinated, boosted, and symptom-free people attend.

This month, we’ll be featuring a flutemaker and a recording artist. Then we’ll do some facilitated playing activities. As always, if you have a song to share, whether it’s a traditional tune, an improv piece, or a jam with you and a few friends, we look forward to hearing it. If you just want to hang out and listen, that’s cool too.

In order to make life a little easier for all of us, I went ahead and scheduled out all meetings for 2022. We’re sticking with every other month for now. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the year:

  • April 2
  • June 4
  • August 6
  • October 1
  • December 3

Feel free to get in touch if you have any feedback regarding the flute circle. I look forward to seeing you on the 5th.
