Flute Friends,
Our May meeting will be Saturday the 5th at 2PM. This time, we’ll be at the home of Nancy Meiners, 1605 Wingers Ct (sometimes shows on GPS as Wingers Dr) in Fuquay-Varina. In order to keep her Homeowners Association happy, please do not park on the grass.
This month, we’ll be featuring the flutes of Butch Hall and the music of John Stevens (who some of you may remember from Flute Haven). Then we’ll do some facilitated playing activities. If anyone is able to step in and handle facilitation this month, please let me know.
As always, if you have a song to share, whether it’s a traditional tune, an improv piece, or a jam with you and a few friends, we look forward to hearing it. If you just want to hang out and listen, that’s cool too. If you’d like to bring a snack to share, feel free to do so.
The following is our 2018 schedule. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to host this year. We do still need facilitators some months, as noted below, so please let me know if you’d like to help with leading our playing activities. Here’s the schedule:
